How many times a year will you actually be charged?
Several programs measure a "month" as four weeks. Where billing follows that four-week cycle rather than the calendar, a year holds 13 charges instead of 12 — PlexusDx bills the calendar month, 12 times.

Peak publishes only that total and no monthly figure on the card; dividing it ourselves gives about $232.67/month, roughly $16/month below the PlexusDx 6-month prepaid tirzepatide rate of $249/month.
- PlexusDx wins on semaglutide at 6 months. Peak's 6-month semaglutide plan is a $990 prepaid total; Peak publishes no monthly figure on that card either, and dividing it ourselves gives $165/month — above the PlexusDx 6-month prepaid semaglutide rate of $149/month.
- TrimRx sells a twelve-month plan and PlexusDx does not. TrimRx's 12-month plan is charged as a single total — $2,218 semaglutide and $3,518 tirzepatide. Our longest plan is 6 months, so there is no matching plan length to set against it. TrimRx's ongoing month-to-month price is $299/$399.
- Found sells a twelve-month prepaid plan and PlexusDx does not. Found's annual cash plan is $169/month semaglutide and $239/month tirzepatide, paid upfront; our longest is 6 months, so again there is no matching length to compare. We record a program's ongoing all-in price — membership included — by completing its signup to checkout. We publish that figure only for the seven programs verified so far; for the rest, only advertised prices.
A note on who wrote this: PlexusDx publishes this page and is one of the providers compared, so we are not a neutral party. We hold our own numbers to the same test as everyone else's — every figure in the verified table came from an actual checkout, ours included — and we say plainly where a competitor beats us. We compare ongoing month-to-month rates; several programs, PlexusDx included, price lower for a multi-month commitment.
- TrimRx and Found each sell a twelve-month prepaid plan and PlexusDx does not, so neither has a matching plan length to set against ours. We do not compare a prepaid multi-month plan against a month-to-month rate in either direction.
- Peak Wellness's 6-month tirzepatide plan is a $1,396.00 prepaid total, which works out to about $232.67 per month — roughly $16 per month below our own 6-month prepaid tirzepatide rate of $249/month. Peak publishes only the $1,396.00 total and no monthly figure on that plan, so the $232.67 per-month equivalent is ours by calculation, not Peak's published price.

Compounded GLP-1 is semaglutide or tirzepatide prepared for an individual patient by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy on a valid prescription. It is a legal, provider-prescribed option within the telehealth and 503A framework — not a generic or an FDA-evaluated substitute.
- Not FDA-approved. Compounded medications are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, quality, or effectiveness.
- The approved branded versions. Only Novo Nordisk (semaglutide) and Lilly (tirzepatide) make FDA-approved versions.
What is the cheapest GLP-1 provider?

Seven of the 12 programs we reviewed state one flat price at every dose — PlexusDx, Remedy Meds, Eden, TrimRx, Medvi, BetterMe Rx and Embody. Zealthy, Henry Meds and Fridays are handled below. Because your dose usually rises over the first months, confirm a program's dose policy in writing before you commit.
- Zealthy is the clearest exception. Its own checkout states that "your provider may recommend a different dosage amount, which would change the price."
- Henry Meds does not publish a figure. It says its price "varies by treatment plan and dosing" without publishing a specific surcharge.
- Fridays says nothing either way. It makes no dose-pricing statement on its site.
Do I need insurance to use a GLP-1 telehealth program?
No — none of the programs compared here requires insurance; PlexusDx and most others are cash-pay, and Found also offers an insurance track alongside its cash-pay plans. Compounded medications are generally not billed to insurance; some programs accept HSA/FSA cards, which you can confirm at checkout.
