What each weight management protocol actually does for you
Four protocols, plain English. How each one works — and what to expect.
ChangesA low-dose GLP-1 entry point — your provider selects from four delivery variants, all at one flat price.
You'll feelA gentler introduction to GLP-1 therapy, designed for a lighter side-effect profile than full-dose titration.
ChangesA GLP-1 receptor agonist supporting appetite regulation and gastric emptying, titrated by your provider across five dose levels.
You'll feelMost people notice reduced hunger within the first weeks; steady, provider-guided progress follows.
ChangesA GIP/GLP-1 dual agonist engaging two incretin pathways instead of one, provider-titrated across six dose levels.
You'll feelDual-pathway appetite and metabolic support, with your provider advancing your dose as your body responds.
ChangesA dual-compound formulation combining Semaglutide and Tirzepatide across multiple incretin pathways — a clinical step-up.
You'll feelProvider-directed when a single compound isn't the right fit; both compounds titrate together under supervision.
Each protocol is provider-prescribed — your clinical profile and goals drive the choice, not a shopping cart.

Frequently Asked
Answers before you enroll
Pricing, eligibility, genetics, compounding, and what happens after you start — directly answered, no hedging.
PRICING
What does the monthly price include?
Your published monthly price covers the async provider intake, prescription, compounded medication, supplies, shipping, and ongoing provider monitoring. There is no separate membership, no consult fee, and no platform fee stacked on top. Pricing is flat per compound: your monthly rate is set by the compound and commitment tier you choose (month-to-month, 3-month, or 6-month), and it does not change as your provider adjusts your dose. Your dose may need to go up. Your price won't. Every rate is visible on each compound product page before you enroll. Microdose GLP-1 is flat at $129/mo across all four variants on a single tier.
COMMITMENT
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
Month-to-month. No contract, no annual prepayment required. Cancel anytime by messaging your provider or support team — cancellation is processed before your next billing cycle with no penalty or fee.
GENETICS
How does the Precision Peptide Genetic Test fit into my protocol?
The genetic test is optional and available before or during your protocol. It analyzes 14 pathways, 49 peptides, and 150+ genetic insights to help contextualize your response. It does not determine which compound you use — your provider does — and it does not predict response to a named drug.
MEDICATION
What's the difference between injection and oral compounds?
Injection and oral compounds deliver the same active ingredient through different routes. Injections are typically weekly and have longer clinical track records. Oral compounds are daily and needle-free. Your provider recommends the route that fits your preference, lifestyle, and clinical profile.
COMPOUNDING
What is 503A compounding and why does it matter?
503A compounding means your medication is prepared by a licensed pharmacy specifically for your prescription — not mass-manufactured. PlexusDx uses a national network of 503A-compliant pharmacies. This pathway is FDA-regulated and legal for patient-specific prescriptions. It is distinct from FDA-approved retail medications, which are mass-produced under a different regulatory pathway.
ELIGIBILITY
Do I need blood work before starting?
No. Blood work is not clinically required for GLP-1 protocols per current ADA guidance. Some patients opt into our Red Drop Dx at-home blood panel for baseline metabolic data, but it is optional — not gated, not required, not bundled into your monthly price.
STATES
What happens in states requiring a live consultation?
Five states require a live telehealth consultation instead of async intake: you'll schedule a short video call with your provider before your first prescription ships. Everything else — pricing, shipping, monitoring — stays identical. Available in all 50 states either way.
PROVIDER
Can I switch compounds mid-protocol?
Yes. If your provider determines a different compound better fits your response or goals, they can switch you — consultation, new prescription, and shipping are handled inside your protocol pricing. When you move between compounds, your monthly price moves to that compound's flat rate at your commitment tier. Your dose level never changes your price.
