Medication and route match

Both programs center on compounded injections prescribed by licensed providers in their networks and filled by compounding pharmacies. MEDVi lists compounded semaglutide injection, compounded tirzepatide injection and a compounded semaglutide tablet, plus a separate branded pathway for Wegovy® and Zepbound® that bills a membership and the medication separately. OrderlyMeds lists compounded semaglutide injection, compounded tirzepatide injection and compounded semaglutide tablets.

So the like-for-like rows are semaglutide injection, tirzepatide injection and semaglutide tablets. Compounded products are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of Wegovy®, Ozempic®, Zepbound® or Mounjaro®; the FDA's statement on unapproved GLP-1 drugs explains the distinction. A compounded tablet is also not the FDA-approved oral product.

The table shows month-to-month rates for the same medication and route. MEDVi's first-month price is a labeled part of its standard offer for new patients; the refill rate is the comparison basis. On the recurring semaglutide rate, OrderlyMeds ($249/mo) is below MEDVi ($299 refill). On month one only, MEDVi ($179) is below OrderlyMeds ($249). The older claim that OrderlyMeds undercuts everyone therefore holds for MEDVi refills, but not for MEDVi's first month and not against PlexusDx's $189/mo month-to-month semaglutide rate. For tirzepatide, OrderlyMeds ($399/mo month-to-month) matches MEDVi's ongoing $399 per billing cycle (verified September 22, 2026); PlexusDx Tirzepatide Injection is $289/mo month-to-month, $110 a month less than MEDVi's ongoing rate ($3,468 versus $4,788 over 12 billing cycles at the ongoing rates).

Dose and supply-length conditions

MEDVi states "Same fair price at every dose" on its start page. OrderlyMeds states the same price regardless of dose for semaglutide; its tirzepatide page does not make that statement in the material we read, so confirm before assuming. PlexusDx states its monthly price is flat across every dose level for a compound.

Supply length is the quieter variable. MEDVi bills per billing cycle and does not publish the cycle length, so twelve MEDVi cycles should not be assumed to equal a calendar year. OrderlyMeds describes its rates as monthly and its starter as three months. Ask both what a "month" of supply contains and how a dose change affects the next shipment.

Upfront payment and renewal

OrderlyMeds' lower per-month rates require the three-month starter paid as a block: $498 for semaglutide or $798 for tirzepatide. MEDVi offers 3-, 6- and 12-month bundles; their rates appear in its signup flow and are not published here, so the only MEDVi path we can price is monthly. As a new patient, three MEDVi semaglutide cycles cost $179 + 2 × $299 = $777 (assumption: one first-month price, then refills at the displayed rate). OrderlyMeds' comparable three-month starter is $498. For tirzepatide, three refill-only MEDVi cycles at the ongoing rate cost 3 × $399 = $1,197 (no new-patient series is computed because MEDVi's tirzepatide first-month offer is not published); OrderlyMeds' comparable three-month starter is $798.

Renewal terms differ in what is published. MEDVi requires a cancellation request at least 72 hours before the next billing date, does not refund the month in which you cancel, and refunds multi-month plans only for months with no medication shipped. OrderlyMeds' refund and cancellation terms could not be read from its site, so treat them as unknown and request them in writing before paying for a starter.

Support inclusions

MEDVi's published bundle is broader: physician review, a personalized plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report, free dietitian visits and care coaching, unlimited 24/7 support, free shipping and HSA/FSA eligibility. OrderlyMeds includes the provider visit, unlimited check-ins and shipping in its price. Neither published bundle tells you about response times or continuity of clinician; publicly posted MEDVi customer reviews describe a range of experiences on those points, with the usual limits of self-selected reviews.

Choosing based on your priorities

If your priority is the lowest recurring semaglutide rate between these two, OrderlyMeds' $249/mo month-to-month is below MEDVi's $299 refill, and its $166/mo starter is lower still if you accept a $498 upfront block. If you want to test one cycle cheaply, MEDVi's $179 first month is the lower entry. If dietitian visits and 24/7 support matter, MEDVi publishes them and OrderlyMeds does not.
