MEDVi's compounded programs are one recurring charge with medication included: $179 for the first month for new patients, then $299 per billing cycle at refill for semaglutide injection as displayed September 22, 2026. Mochi charges a $79/mo membership and bills medication separately, with compounded semaglutide injection "from $60," tirzepatide injection "from $90" and a semaglutide pill "from $62" — starting-at figures that vary by pharmacy and state. Medication plus membership: full bill

The first thing to settle is what one recurring charge covers, because the two companies use the word "membership" differently. MEDVi states "No membership or hidden fees" for its compounded programs and "Medication is included in the cost of the MEDVi Program" (MEDVi's program page, read September 22, 2026). Mochi's model is the reverse: a monthly membership that covers the clinical service, with medication priced and billed as a separate line (Mochi Health, read September 22, 2026).

Introductory and recurring prices

MEDVi's structure is a lower first payment followed by a locked refill rate. For compounded semaglutide injection that is $179 in the first month for new patients and $299 per cycle after that, as displayed September 22, 2026. For compounded tirzepatide injection, MEDVi's ongoing month-to-month rate for compounded tirzepatide injection is $399, verified September 22, 2026; MEDVi shows its tirzepatide first-month offer after the questionnaire; confirm it in the official offer. MEDVi's oral tablet runs about $70 a month over its injection rate for the same compound (read on its plan-selection screen); MEDVi does not publish a tablet total on its public page. MEDVi does not publish its billing-cycle length, so this article says "per cycle" rather than "per month" for MEDVi.

Mochi's recurring membership is $79/mo. Mochi's site also advertises a reduced first-month membership for new subscribers in some states; because it is conditional and promotional, this article uses the $79/mo recurring rate as the comparison basis. Mochi's medication prices are "starting at" figures: semaglutide injection from $60, tirzepatide injection from $90, semaglutide pill from $62, shipping included, varying by pharmacy and state. Mochi's branded prices are per medication, on top of the membership: Zepbound® $299, Wegovy® or Ozempic® "as low as $199," Mounjaro® $499. Mochi states that prescription sales are final.

The practical difference is where uncertainty sits. With MEDVi the uncertainty is in the unpublished tirzepatide first-month offer, the tablet total and the cycle length. With Mochi the uncertainty is in the medication line itself, which you only see once a pharmacy and dose are assigned.

Dose and route policies

MEDVi states "Same fair price at every dose," so a provider-ordered dose change on a compounded program is not documented to change the charge. Mochi's public pages give "from" prices and say medication cost varies by pharmacy and state; they do not publish a dose-tier schedule, so whether a dose change moves the medication line is unknown here. An earlier version of this article said Mochi charges more per dose; that claim is not carried forward because no current source supports it. Ask Mochi directly what your medication will cost at the strength your provider prescribes.

On route, both offer a compounded injection and a compounded oral option. MEDVi lists GLP-1 tablets at about $70 a month over its injection rate for the same compound (no tablet total published); Mochi lists a semaglutide pill from $62 plus membership. Compounded tablets and pills are not the FDA-approved oral semaglutide product. All compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide products from either provider are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies, are not FDA-approved, and are not the same as Wegovy®, Ozempic®, Zepbound® or Mounjaro® (FDA statement on unapproved GLP-1 drugs). Dose and route decisions belong to the prescribing clinician on either platform.

Equal-duration totals

A total can only be computed where both parts of the bill are published. That is true for MEDVi's semaglutide injection and false for Mochi, whose medication line is a "from" figure. The table therefore shows MEDVi totals in full and Mochi totals as the formula with the known membership component and the unknown medication component.

Mochi totals cannot be completed because medication is priced "from" a starting figure that varies by pharmacy, state and prescription; Mochi's multi-month membership options are addressed below. For compounded tirzepatide injection, refill only at MEDVi's ongoing $399 rate (verified September 22, 2026): 3 cycles $1,197; 6 cycles $2,394; 12 cycles $4,788. No new-patient tirzepatide total is computed because the first-month offer is not published, and Mochi's tirzepatide line is a "from" figure.

What the table does show is the shape of each bill. MEDVi's total is fixed once you know the refill rate. Mochi's total has a fixed membership floor and a medication line you must price yourself. If your medication lands near the starting figure, Mochi's combined bill may be lower than MEDVi's refill rate; if it lands well above it, the order can reverse. Neither outcome can be assumed from the public pages.

Payment commitments

MEDVi bills as a recurring subscription that you can cancel anytime with a request at least 72 hours before the next billing date; service continues to the end of the cycle, and MEDVi does not refund the month in which you cancel. MEDVi offers 3-, 6- and 12-month bundles; their rates appear in its signup flow and are not published here; under MEDVi's refund policy they are refundable only for months in which no medication has shipped (MEDVi cancellation and refund policy, read September 22, 2026).

Mochi's membership is monthly at $79/mo, and its site lists 3-, 6- and 12-month membership options at $207, $354 and $588; those figures are membership only, with medication still billed separately. Mochi states prescription sales are final. Its membership refund and cancellation windows were not readable on its public pages as of September 22, 2026, so ask before you commit to a multi-month membership. PlexusDx comparison

PlexusDx uses a third structure: one monthly price with no membership fee, covering the provider visit, prescription, medication and shipping. Semaglutide Injection is $189/mo month-to-month, so three months are $567, six are $1,134 and twelve are $2,268. Tirzepatide Injection is $289/mo month-to-month ($867, $1,734 and $3,468). The price is flat across every dose level for the compound and changes only with the commitment tier you choose, so there is no medication line to price at your dose and no first-month rate that steps up. You pay $0 until your provider approves your prescription, and a month-to-month plan can be cancelled anytime with no fees. Optional 3- and 6-month commitments advertise lower per-month rates, with the payment schedule shown at checkout; compare those only against another program's commitment tiers.
