First-month versus ongoing charges

MEDVi leads with a first-month price. MEDVi's start page says "Start for just $179" with no insurance required, and the program page describes the semaglutide program as starting at that first-month price with no contract. The program page then states that refills are locked in at $299 and include all the same program benefits. The first-month figure is a one-time new-patient rate; the refill figure is what you pay from the second billing cycle onward. If you budget on $179 you will underestimate your cost from the second cycle on.

On MEDVi's published semaglutide rates, a new patient pays $777 over 3 billing cycles ($179 plus 2 × $299), $1,674 over 6 cycles ($179 plus 5 × $299), and $3,468 over 12 cycles ($179 plus 11 × $299). A continuing patient with no introductory month pays $897 for 3 cycles, $1,794 for 6, and $3,588 for 12. Those are calculations on rates as displayed September 22, 2026; confirm both rates in MEDVi's official offer. Because the cycle length is not published, 12 cycles is not labeled a calendar year.

For tirzepatide, MEDVi's ongoing month-to-month rate is $399, verified September 22, 2026, so a continuing patient pays $1,197 for 3 cycles, $2,394 for 6, and $4,788 for 12 at the ongoing rate. When a membership fee is separate

MEDVi's compounded programs do not carry a separate membership. The program page states that medication is included in the cost of the MEDVi program and describes the offer as having no membership or hidden fees, in MEDVi's own words. The monthly price for compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide is therefore the whole recurring charge, covering physician review, a personalized plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report, free dietitian visits and care coaching, unlimited 24/7 support, and free shipping. MEDVi also states that it accepts HSA and FSA payment.

The branded pathway is different. Branded Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® injection, and Zepbound® injection are listed as a monthly membership plus the medication cost, with the medication billed separately and availability described as subject to change. The membership pays for the platform and clinical service; the medication is a second charge at the pharmacy's price. When you compare a branded pathway to a compounded one, add both branded charges together, and compare a compounded price only with another compounded price. PlexusDx has no membership fee on any plan. One monthly price covers your provider visit, prescription, medication, and shipping, and you pay $0 until your provider approves your prescription. PlexusDx does not offer branded Wegovy® or Zepbound®; its GLP-1 products are compounded.

Monthly versus prepaid commitments

MEDVi offers 3-, 6- and 12-month bundles alongside monthly billing, and financing is offered; the bundle rates appear in its signup flow and are not published here. Ask for them if a longer plan interests you. The policy's terms matter more than the discount: for monthly billing, MEDVi states that no refund is issued for the month in which the cancellation occurs; multi-month plans are refundable only for months in which no medication has shipped; consultation fees are non-refundable; and prescription medication cannot be returned. Cancellation requests must be made at least 72 hours before the next billing date, by email or portal chat, and service continues to the end of the billing cycle. A full refund is available only within the first 72 hours without receiving services, or on medical disqualification. PlexusDx publishes three commitment tiers for each product: month-to-month, a 3-month plan, and a 6-month plan. The 3- and 6-month figures are advertised per-month rates on a commitment; the payment schedule and any refund terms for a multi-month plan are shown at checkout.
