What does a MEDVi branded-medication membership include?

MEDVi's program page separates two things: the membership, and the medication. It covers the provider relationship through MEDVi's telehealth platform, where prescriptions are issued by licensed providers in its network, plus the program services MEDVi describes for its members: physician review, a personalized plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report, free dietitian visits and care coaching, and unlimited 24/7 support.

What the membership does not do is buy the drug. Wegovy® and Zepbound® are FDA-approved products made by Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly, and MEDVi's page says medication is billed separately on the branded route. A membership also does not guarantee a prescription; the licensed provider decides whether the medication is appropriate for you. And it does not guarantee that the product is in stock, since MEDVi marks branded availability as subject to change.

Wegovy and Zepbound access: current options

As of September 22, 2026, MEDVi's program page lists three branded products under the membership model: the Wegovy® pill, the Wegovy® injection, and the Zepbound® injection. These are the FDA-approved products, not compounded versions. MEDVi does not publish what it charges for them, and we do not estimate it. Two reference points help you judge a quote when you get one. Eli Lilly sells Zepbound® single-dose vials directly through LillyDirect at self-pay prices of $299/mo for 2.5 mg, $399/mo for 5 mg, and $449/mo for 7.5 mg through 15 mg under its self-pay program, as published September 22, 2026 on LillyDirect; outside that program the regular prices are $499 for 7.5 mg and $699 for 10 mg through 15 mg. Those are dose-tiered manufacturer prices, and they show that branded tirzepatide costs rise with dose. Other membership-plus-medication platforms, such as Ro and Hims, charge a $149/mo membership after a $39 first month and then bill branded medication on top, so MEDVi's structure is not unusual in the category.

Insurance, cash-pay cost, and exclusions

MEDVi's compounded program is advertised as "no insurance required." For the branded route, the pages we read on September 22, 2026 do not state whether MEDVi bills your insurance for the medication, whether you can use a manufacturer savings card, or whether the medication charge is cash-pay only. Ask MEDVi directly before you pay the membership, because the answer changes the second line of your total by hundreds of dollars a month.

MEDVi does state that it accepts HSA and FSA payment. Branded versus compounded: compare different pathways honestly

A compounded GLP-1 is a different medication pathway, not a cheaper version of the branded product. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies for an individual prescription. They are not FDA-approved, and a licensed pharmacy or prescriber is not FDA approval of the product. Cancellation and renewal questions

MEDVi's cancellation and refund policy, read September 22, 2026, applies across its programs. You can cancel anytime, but the request must arrive at least 72 hours before your next billing date, by email to hello@medvi.org or through the portal chat, and service continues to the end of the billing cycle. A full refund is available only if you cancel within the first 72 hours without receiving services, or if a provider medically disqualifies you. For monthly billing, MEDVi's policy states in capitals that you will not be refunded for the month in which the cancellation occurs. On the branded route, those rules mean a membership month you have already been charged is generally not refundable, and a shipped box of Wegovy® or Zepbound® cannot be returned. Before joining, confirm three things in writing: the membership billing frequency, the current medication charge for the exact product and dose your provider prescribes, and how a stock interruption is handled if a branded product becomes unavailable. MEDVi's cycle length is not published, so budget per billing cycle rather than assuming a calendar month.
