What happened after the old promotion?

An earlier version of this article recorded AltRx promotional tiers with an end date of September 5, 2026, and projected annual savings from them. That promotion has passed, and those projections are withdrawn. As of September 22, 2026, AltRx's pages show "starting at" prices with no end date and no statement of what a second cycle costs. We do not know whether the current figures are the post-promotion standard rate, a new promotion, or a first-month rate. Treat the earlier tiers as historical and confirm the current recurring price at AltRx's checkout.

Ongoing price and unknown charges

MEDVi's ongoing price for semaglutide is clear in structure: a first month for new patients, then a refill rate per billing cycle. Its billing-cycle length is not published, so do not assume twelve cycles equal a calendar year. MEDVi's ongoing month-to-month rate for compounded tirzepatide injection is $399 per billing cycle, verified September 22, 2026; its tirzepatide first-month offer is shown after the questionnaire, so confirm it in the official offer. MEDVi's oral tablet runs about $70 a month over its injection rate for the same compound (read on its plan-selection screen), and MEDVi does not publish a tablet total on its public page. MEDVi offers 3-, 6- and 12-month bundles; their rates appear in its signup flow and are not published here. AltRx's ongoing price is the larger unknown. "Starting at" can mean a first cycle, a lowest tier, or the standard rate; AltRx's page does not say. AltRx does state free delivery, no membership fee and coverage in all 50 states. Multi-month bundle totals and branded pricing are not published.

Same-term comparison

A same-term comparison needs a recurring rate on both sides, and only MEDVi provides one. For a new patient staying three MEDVi cycles on semaglutide, the total is $179 + 2 × $299 = $777, assuming one first-month price and refills at the displayed rate. An AltRx three-cycle total cannot be computed honestly because the recurring rate is unknown; multiplying "$89" by three would assume a fact AltRx does not state. Three PlexusDx month-to-month cycles on Semaglutide Injection are $567. For tirzepatide, three refill-only MEDVi cycles at the ongoing rate are 3 × $399 = $1,197 (no new-patient series is computed because MEDVi's tirzepatide first-month offer is not published), against $867 for three PlexusDx month-to-month cycles on Tirzepatide Injection; AltRx's tirzepatide recurring rate is not stated.

If AltRx's $89 turns out to be its recurring rate at checkout, it is well below both MEDVi's $299 refill and PlexusDx's $189/mo. If it is a first-cycle rate, the comparison depends entirely on the second-cycle figure. That is the one number to obtain before enrolling.

Cancellation and commitment

Both require cancellation at least 72 hours before the next billing date, but the refund rules differ. MEDVi allows a full refund within the first 72 hours if no services were received, or on medical disqualification; after that, the month in which you cancel is not refunded, multi-month plans are refundable only for months with no medication shipped, and prescription medication cannot be returned. AltRx states that all payments are final and non-refundable; multi-month bundles are non-refundable in whole or in part, with the sole exception of clinical ineligibility, which refunds the unused portion. Under AltRx's terms, a bundle purchased before a provider review is at risk only if you are found ineligible; a change of mind is not covered.

Decision guide

Choose MEDVi if you want a published refill rate, a bundled support package with dietitian visits and 24/7 support, and a 72-hour full-refund window. Choose AltRx if its checkout confirms that the starting-at rate is the recurring rate and you accept that payments are final. In either case, get the second-cycle price in writing; for tirzepatide, MEDVi's ongoing rate is $399 per billing cycle (verified September 22, 2026) and its first-month offer is shown after the questionnaire, so confirm that in the official offer. Publicly posted MEDVi customer reviews are worth reading for how the billing rules play out in practice.
