MEDVi is an operating telehealth platform, not a scam, based on what can be verified as of September 22, 2026. It publishes a business address and phone number, names the compounding pharmacies that fill its prescriptions, states that licensed providers in its network issue prescriptions, and posts a cancellation and refund policy. What public pages cannot establish: the licenses of the individual providers you will see, MEDVi's tirzepatide first-month offer and tablet total, and whether the service will suit you. "Legitimate" and "right for you" are different questions, and this page keeps them separate.

Is MEDVi legitimate? What the evidence can establish

Legitimacy in telehealth is layered. A company can be a real business with real contact details and still sell a product that is not FDA-approved, and a licensed pharmacy can dispense a medication the FDA has never reviewed. So the useful question is not "is MEDVi legit, yes or no," but "which layers check out, which are unknown, and which are matters of preference." Dispensing is more transparent. MEDVi names three compounding pharmacies on its program page: Triad Rx, RedRock Pharmacy, and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding. PlexusDx care is delivered by an independent network of U.S.-licensed clinicians through a state-licensed telehealth platform, with medication prepared by state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies for your individual prescription. What FDA approval does and does not mean here

This is where most "is MEDVi legit" confusion starts. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved drug products. They are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies under federal compounding rules and are not the same as Wegovy®, Ozempic®, Zepbound®, or Mounjaro®. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality before sale, and has published its concerns about unapproved GLP-1 drugs used for weight loss.

Two things follow. A licensed pharmacy or a licensed prescriber is not FDA approval of the compounded product; the licenses cover the people and the facility, not the specific vial or tablet. And brand-drug trial results do not establish identical outcomes for a compounded injection or tablet. What can be said qualitatively: publicly posted reviews of MEDVi on third-party review sites and forums describe both satisfied and dissatisfied customers. Favorable themes tend to track the parts of MEDVi's offer that are verifiable on its pages: an online intake, included dietitian visits and coaching, 24/7 support, free shipping, and a first-month price below the refill price. Unfavorable themes reported by some reviewers cluster around billing at renewal, refund requests after medication has shipped, and communication delays. The context this page can add: several common complaint categories map directly onto MEDVi's published policy. Worked totals for a new MEDVi semaglutide-injection patient, assuming the $179 first month and $299 for every cycle after: 3 cycles $777, 6 cycles $1,674, 12 cycles $3,468. Refill-only totals are $897, $1,794, and $3,588. PlexusDx Semaglutide Injection at $189/mo month-to-month totals $567, $1,134, and $2,268 for the same cycle counts. For tirzepatide, PlexusDx Tirzepatide Injection at $289/mo gives $867, $1,734, and $3,468; MEDVi's ongoing $399 rate, refill-only, gives $1,197, $2,394, and $4,788, $110 a month and $1,320 over 12 cycles more than PlexusDx. Cancellation terms are where legitimacy questions most often turn into complaints. MEDVi's cancellation and refund policy allows cancellation at any time, but the request must arrive at least 72 hours before the next billing date, by email to hello@medvi.org or portal chat, and service runs to the end of the cycle. A full refund is available only within the first 72 hours without receiving services, or on medical disqualification. On monthly billing, MEDVi states you will not be issued a refund for the month in which the cancellation occurs.
