The fair comparison is MEDVi against Noom Med, not against the Noom app. MEDVi's compounded semaglutide injection is $179 for the first month (new patients) and $299 per billing cycle for refills, as displayed on MEDVi's program page on September 22, 2026, with dietitian visits, coaching, and 24/7 support included. Noom Med's compounded semaglutide tier (GLP-1Rx) is listed at $249 per month on one official page and $279 per month on another, billed quarterly, and its tirzepatide tier (GLP-1Rx Plus) is $299 per month recurring. MEDVi's ongoing month-to-month rate for compounded tirzepatide injection is $399, verified September 22, 2026; its tirzepatide first-month offer is shown after the questionnaire. Details and trade-offs follow.

Which Noom product is being compared?

Noom has two distinct offers. The consumer app is a subscription behavior-change program built around daily lessons, food logging, and coach messaging; it does not include a clinician or medication, and its app-only price is not compared here because it buys something different. Noom Med, at noom.com/med, adds a licensed clinician evaluation and, if prescribed, medication: a Microdose GLP-1Rx tier at $199 per month recurring ($79 to start), GLP-1Rx (compounded semaglutide) at $249 to $279 per month, GLP-1Rx Plus (compounded tirzepatide) at $299 per month recurring ($149 to start), and a branded-medication telehealth tier with medication billed separately. Noom Med is not available in all 50 states.

MEDVi has one core program: telehealth evaluation, a prescription from a licensed provider in its network when appropriate, and compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide shipped to you, with a separate branded pathway (Wegovy® and Zepbound®) priced as a monthly membership plus the medication cost.

Medication access and provider review

Both programs start with an online intake reviewed by a licensed provider who decides whether a prescription is appropriate. Both dispense compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide from state-licensed compounding pharmacies; MEDVi names Triad Rx, RedRock Pharmacy, and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding. Compounded products are not FDA-approved and are not the same as Wegovy®, Ozempic®, Zepbound®, or Mounjaro®; the FDA explains the distinction. Neither platform is itself a prescriber; prescriptions are issued by licensed providers in each network, and those clinicians make every treatment decision.

Checked September 22, 2026 on each company's official pages. Prices are month-to-month or per billing cycle as labeled; no multi-month totals are shown because Noom bills quarterly and MEDVi's 3-, 6- and 12-month bundle rates appear in its signup flow and are not published here. PlexusDx 3- and 6-month tiers are separate commitments, not compared here.

Worked semaglutide totals for MEDVi, new patient: $777 for 3 cycles and $1,674 for 6 (first month plus refills at $299). Noom's quarterly billing on its $279 per month page is shown as $837 per 12 weeks. PlexusDx month-to-month is $567 for 3 months and $1,134 for 6. For tirzepatide, MEDVi refill-only at its ongoing $399 rate (verified September 22, 2026) is $1,197 for 3 cycles and $2,394 for 6; no new-patient MEDVi tirzepatide total is computed because its first-month offer is not published. PlexusDx Tirzepatide Injection is $289/mo versus MEDVi's ongoing $399/mo, $110 a month less at PlexusDx.

Behavioral support and follow-up

This is where the two programs differ most. MEDVi bundles human support into the medication price: physician review, a personalized plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report, free dietitian visits and care coaching, and unlimited 24/7 support, plus MEDVi Meals as a separate offering. Noom Med pairs its clinician with the Noom behavior-change program, so daily lessons, logging, and coach messaging sit alongside the prescription. If structured daily behavioral work is what you want, Noom's model is built for it; if you want scheduled human coaching without a daily app habit, MEDVi's included dietitian visits are the closer fit. Publicly posted MEDVi customer reviews describe the support experience with the limits of individual reports.

Commitment and cancellation

MEDVi bills per cycle with no contract. You can cancel anytime with notice at least 72 hours before the next billing date, but there is no refund for the month in which you cancel, and prescription medication cannot be returned; a full refund applies only within the first 72 hours without services or on medical disqualification. Noom Med bills quarterly, and Noom states refunds are unavailable once a prescription is written. PlexusDx charges $0 until your provider approves, bills month-to-month, and lets you cancel anytime with no fees.

Choosing the appropriate program

Choose Noom Med if you want a behavior-change curriculum as the backbone of your plan and accept quarterly billing. Choose MEDVi if you want medication plus included dietitian and coaching support, and you can work with a refill rate that is higher than the first month. If you mainly want the medication, a provider visit, and shipping in one flat monthly price with no membership and no commitment, PlexusDx's month-to-month tiers are the direct alternative.

Where PlexusDx fits

PlexusDx Semaglutide Injection is $189 per month and Tirzepatide Injection $289 per month month-to-month, flat across every dose level, through an independent network of U.S.-licensed clinicians on a state-licensed telehealth platform. A note on genetics (optional)

PlexusDx offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide through its Weight Management Protocols. Separately, and only if it interests you, the GLP-1 & Peptide Pathways Genetic Test ($298) analyzes 14 pathways, 49 peptides, 150+ genetic insights, including variants in FTO, MC4R and TCF7L2 that relate to appetite and glucose-handling pathways. It does not predict how you will respond to any medication and does not tell you which drug, dose or provider is right for you; it is context for a conversation with your clinician. Test before you invest, and treat genetics as a guide, not a guarantee.

This article is educational. PlexusDx is not affiliated with MEDVi and has no commercial relationship with the companies discussed. PlexusDx offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide through its own Weight Management Protocols; this article compares approaches in the GLP-1 telehealth space. The GLP-1 & Peptide Pathways Genetic Test analyzes how your genes influence peptide-related biological pathways. It does not predict response to any specific medication and does not recommend, prescribe, or determine which peptides you should use. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any peptide protocol. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved drug products; they are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies under federal compounding rules and are not the same as Wegovy®, Ozempic®, Zepbound® or Mounjaro®. Zepbound® and Mounjaro® are registered trademarks of Eli Lilly and Company; Wegovy® and Ozempic® are registered trademarks of Novo Nordisk A/S. PlexusDx is not affiliated with or endorsed by either company.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Noom the same as Noom Med?

No. The Noom consumer app is a behavior-change subscription with lessons, logging, and coach messaging but no clinician or medication. Noom Med is a separate clinician-led program that can include compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide and is billed quarterly. Only Noom Med is a like-for-like comparison with MEDVi's medication program, which is why the app price is not compared here.

How do MEDVi and Noom Med prices compare for compounded semaglutide?

MEDVi's semaglutide injection is $179 for the first month for new patients and $299 per billing cycle for refills, as displayed on its program page on September 22, 2026. Noom's GLP-1Rx tier is listed at $249 per month on one official page and $279 per month on another, billed quarterly. Confirm both in the current offer before enrolling.

Does MEDVi offer coaching like Noom?

MEDVi includes free dietitian visits, care coaching, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report, and unlimited 24/7 support in its program price, but it is not a daily behavior-change curriculum. Noom Med pairs its clinician with the Noom app program of daily lessons, logging, and coach messaging. Which fits better depends on whether you want scheduled human support or a daily app habit.

Can I cancel MEDVi or Noom Med and get a refund?

Both allow cancellation, but refunds are narrow. MEDVi needs 72 hours' notice before the next billing date and does not refund the month in which you cancel; a full refund applies only within the first 72 hours without services or on medical disqualification. Noom states refunds are unavailable once a prescription is written, and Noom Med bills quarterly.

Where does PlexusDx fit between MEDVi and Noom?

PlexusDx is a medication-first option with one flat monthly price that covers the provider visit, prescription, compounded medication, and shipping: Semaglutide Injection $189 per month and Tirzepatide Injection $289 per month month-to-month, with no membership fee and $0 charged until your provider approves. It does not include dietitian coaching or a behavior-change app.
