The MEDVi vs Ro question comes down to two different billing models. MEDVi sells compounded semaglutide injections with medication included: $179 for the first month (new patients), then $299 per billing cycle at refill as displayed September 22, 2026. Ro sells branded medication only, with a $149/mo Body membership billed separately from the drug; Ro's Zepbound® KwikPen starts at $299/mo on top of that membership. If you want compounded medication in one charge, MEDVi is the closer fit. If you want branded Wegovy® or Zepbound® through telehealth, Ro is built for that. Program model and current menu

MEDVi is a telehealth platform whose prescriptions are issued by licensed providers in its network. Its compounded menu, as listed on MEDVi's program page on September 22, 2026, includes compounded semaglutide injection, compounded tirzepatide injection, and a daily dissolvable compounded semaglutide tablet. MEDVi also lists branded Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® injection, and Zepbound® injection through a separate membership-plus-medication pathway, with availability "subject to change."

Ro's weight-loss program, as shown on Ro's official page the same day, is branded only: Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® pen, and Zepbound® KwikPen. Compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide is not offered on the page we checked. So a ro vs medvi comparison is partly a compounded-versus-branded decision, and the two products are not interchangeable. This is where the monthly numbers stop being comparable at face value. MEDVi's compounded programs state that "Medication is included in the cost of the MEDVi Program" and describe "No membership or hidden fees." Ro's membership covers the clinical relationship; the medication is a second, separate charge that depends on the drug and dose tier.

Branded and compounded access where offered

Ro publishes dose-tiered branded prices: Wegovy® pill at $149, $199 or $299 per month by dose; Wegovy® pen at $349; Zepbound® KwikPen at $299, $399 or $449 per month by dose. Each is in addition to the $149/mo membership. Ro's medication prices therefore rise as dose rises.

MEDVi's compounded programs advertise the "Same fair price at every dose." Its branded pathway is priced as a monthly membership plus the medication cost; the medication amount is not shown on the program page. MEDVi's ongoing month-to-month rate for compounded tirzepatide injection is $399, verified September 22, 2026; MEDVi shows its tirzepatide first-month offer after the questionnaire, so confirm it in the official offer. MEDVi's oral tablet runs about $70 a month over its injection rate for the same compound (read on its plan-selection screen); MEDVi does not publish a tablet total on its public page. Insurance and cash-pay pathways

Both providers publish self-pay prices. MEDVi's start page states "no insurance required" and lists HSA/FSA acceptance. Ro's published branded prices are self-pay medication prices billed alongside the membership. Neither pricing page we checked on September 22, 2026 describes an insurance-assistance or prior-authorization service, so if coverage matters to you, ask each provider directly before enrolling. Do not treat a membership fee as medication coverage; it is a service charge.

Support and renewal

MEDVi lists physician review, a personalized plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report, "Free dietician visits & care coaching," "Unlimited 24/7 support," and free shipping as included. Its cancellation and refund policy asks for a cancellation request at least 72 hours before the next billing date, states that no refund is issued for the month in which cancellation occurs, and says a full refund applies only within the first 72 hours without services or on medical disqualification. MEDVi's billing-cycle length is not published, so treat each charge as "per billing cycle."

Ro requires cancellation 48 hours before renewal, and its membership fee is non-refundable once paid. Publicly posted MEDVi customer reviews on third-party sites describe a range of billing and support experiences; those are self-reported and not verified here.

Choosing a pathway

Choose MEDVi if you want compounded semaglutide with medication, coaching and shipping in one charge, and you are comfortable with its ongoing rates ($299 per cycle for semaglutide, $399 for tirzepatide, verified September 22, 2026) and confirming the tirzepatide first-month offer inside its offer. Choose Ro if you specifically want an FDA-approved branded product and accept a separate recurring membership plus dose-tiered medication pricing. Either way, your prescribing clinician decides whether a medication is appropriate; neither platform guarantees a prescription.
