Three things about the first payment are documented. It applies to new patients at enrollment, not to later cycles. It follows a provider review: MEDVi's prescriptions are issued by licensed providers in its network, and a first charge does not guarantee a prescription. And it covers the same program benefits as later cycles: physician review, a personalized plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report, medication and shipping, per MEDVi's page.

One caution. MEDVi runs promotional landing pages whose figures do not match each other or the main program page. Treat any number on a landing page as unverified and rely on the price MEDVi shows you in its official offer. MEDVi also states "Same fair price at every dose," so a dose change ordered by your provider is not documented to change the refill rate.

MEDVi does not publish the length of its billing cycle. This guide therefore says "per billing cycle" rather than "per month" for MEDVi, and it does not treat twelve cycles as a calendar year.

First three billing cycles: a worked example

The number that matters when you compare an introductory offer is the total after the offer ends. The formula for a MEDVi new patient is first payment + (number of cycles − 1) × refill rate. Two observations follow from the structure itself, independent of the unpublished tirzepatide first-month offer. First, an introductory rate lowers only the first payment; from cycle two onward you pay the refill rate, so the refill rate is the number to budget around. Second, the longer you stay on a program, the smaller the share of your total that the first-month discount represents. Six cycles of MEDVi compounded tirzepatide injection at its ongoing $399 rate come to $2,394 (6 × $399) and twelve to $4,788, while six months of PlexusDx Tirzepatide Injection month-to-month come to $1,734 (6 × $289) and twelve to $3,468: $110 a month less at PlexusDx, $3,468 versus $4,788 over 12 billing cycles at the ongoing rates. Introductory offers versus multi-month commitments

An earlier version of this article stated that MEDVi does not offer multi-month plans. That was not supported. MEDVi's cancellation and refund policy refers to "multi-month plans" and says they are refundable only for months in which no medication has shipped (MEDVi cancellation and refund policy, read September 22, 2026). MEDVi offers 3-, 6- and 12-month bundles; their rates appear in its signup flow and are not published here; confirm the total in MEDVi's official offer.

An introductory offer and a multi-month commitment solve different problems. The introductory rate lowers your first payment and leaves you free to cancel month to month with 72 hours' notice before the next billing date. A commitment lowers the ongoing rate in exchange for a longer term. PlexusDx publishes both paths for Tirzepatide Injection: $289/mo month-to-month, or an advertised per-month rate of $269/mo on a 3-month commitment (commitment total $807) and $249/mo on a 6-month commitment (commitment total $1,494).
