MEDVi is worth it if you will use what the price bundles. Its compounded semaglutide injection program is $179 for the first month for new patients, then $299 per billing cycle at refill as displayed September 22, 2026, and MEDVi says that price includes physician review, a personalized plan, free dietitian visits, care coaching, 24/7 support and shipping. If you want medication plus a licensed provider and little else, a leaner program costs less: PlexusDx Semaglutide Injection is $189/mo month-to-month, covering the provider visit, prescription, medication and shipping with no membership fee. The decision is which inclusions you will use.

What are you paying for beyond medication?

On MEDVi's compounded programs, the recurring charge is the whole program, not a medication invoice. MEDVi states "Medication is included in the cost of the MEDVi Program" and "No membership or hidden fees," and it lists what sits inside the price: physician review, a personalized plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report, "Free dietician visits & care coaching," "Unlimited 24/7 support," "Fast, Free Shipping" and HSA/FSA eligibility (MEDVi's program page, read September 22, 2026). Prescriptions are issued by licensed providers in MEDVi's network, and MEDVi names its compounding pharmacies: Triad Rx, RedRock Pharmacy and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding.

So the question "is it worth it" really asks whether the coaching, dietitian access and round-the-clock support are worth the gap between MEDVi's refill rate and a program that bundles less. That gap is $110 a month on either injection at the ongoing rates: $189/mo at PlexusDx versus MEDVi's ongoing $299/mo for semaglutide, and $289/mo at PlexusDx versus MEDVi's ongoing $399/mo for compounded tirzepatide injection, verified September 22, 2026. MEDVi's oral tablet runs about $70 a month over its injection rate for the same compound (read on its plan-selection screen); MEDVi does not publish a tablet total on its public page. The table compares what each program documents on its own pages. "Included access" means the service is part of the price; it is not a response-time promise. MEDVi's "Unlimited 24/7 support" is an access claim, and MEDVi does not publish a response-time commitment, a guaranteed number of dietitian visits, or a coaching schedule as of September 22, 2026. PlexusDx does not advertise dietitian visits, coaching or 24/7 support.

Cost at renewal and over the chosen term

The first month is not the price to judge. MEDVi's $179 applies once, to new patients; every later cycle is billed at the refill rate, $299 per cycle for semaglutide injection as displayed September 22, 2026. MEDVi does not publish its billing-cycle length, so the table counts cycles rather than calendar months. PlexusDx month-to-month totals are the monthly rate times the number of months. Compare like with like: month-to-month against refill rate, and commitment tiers only against commitment tiers.

Which features matter to different patients?

If you want structured accountability, such as regular contact with a dietitian and a coach, MEDVi documents those services inside its price and PlexusDx does not. Ask MEDVi how often dietitian visits are available and how coaching is delivered, because the page promises access, not a cadence.

If you already have a dietitian, a primary-care clinician or a plan you follow, you would be paying MEDVi for services you will not use. A program priced for the medication and the provider visit is the more economical fit.

If you want to use HSA or FSA funds, MEDVi states it accepts them; check with your plan administrator.

If you may stop and restart, look at cancellation terms rather than support lists. MEDVi requires a cancellation request at least 72 hours before the next billing date and does not refund the month in which you cancel; PlexusDx month-to-month plans can be cancelled anytime with no fees. PlexusDx fits the patient who wants the clinical core at a published, predictable price. One monthly price covers the provider visit, prescription, medication and shipping. There is no membership fee. The price is flat across every dose level for the compound and changes only with the commitment tier you choose: Semaglutide Injection $189/mo, Tirzepatide Injection $289/mo, Semaglutide Oral $289/mo and Tirzepatide Oral $349/mo month-to-month, with a Microdose GLP-1 Protocol at $129/mo flat when a provider selects a low-dose option. You pay $0 until your provider approves your prescription, and a month-to-month plan can be cancelled anytime with no fees. • For the medication and route you expect, what is the recurring price after the first cycle, and how long is one billing cycle? MEDVi shows its tirzepatide first-month offer after the questionnaire; confirm it in the official offer.
• How many dietitian visits are included, how are they scheduled, and what does "unlimited 24/7 support" cover: chat, phone, clinical questions, or billing only?
• What is the refund position if a provider declines to prescribe, if you cancel mid-cycle, or if you choose a multi-month plan and stop early?
• Is the medication compounded or branded, which pharmacy dispenses it, and does the price change if your provider changes your medication or route?
• What will you actually use each month? Price the bundle you will use, not the one on the page.
