The short answer

Peak Wellness is a legitimate flat-rate GLP-1 telehealth program with two compounded injectables, no membership fee, and pricing that does not rise with dose. Its ongoing semaglutide rate of $249/month sits $60 above PlexusDx's $189/month, and its prepaid 6-month blocks narrow that gap considerably — on tirzepatide, Peak's 6-month prepaid actually works out cheaper over a year than PlexusDx's 6-month rate. The trade-offs are prepayment risk, a refund policy we could not locate in the signup flow, and a narrower product range: no oral options and no microdose maintenance tier.

Pricing, normalized like-for-like

Comparing a prepaid block to a month-to-month rate misleads in both directions, so the table below keeps plan lengths aligned. Peak sells its multi-month plans as prepaid blocks; the per-month figures for Peak are our calculation from the charged total.

Plan (semaglutide injection) Peak Wellness PlexusDx 12-month cost at that plan
Month-to-month $249/mo $189/mo Peak $2,988 vs PlexusDx $2,268 — PlexusDx saves $720
3-month plan $597 charged per block ($199/mo, our calculation) $169/mo Peak $2,388 vs PlexusDx $2,028 — PlexusDx saves $360
6-month plan $990 charged per block ($165/mo, our calculation) $149/mo Peak $1,980 vs PlexusDx $1,788 — PlexusDx saves $192
Plan (tirzepatide injection) Peak Wellness PlexusDx 12-month cost at that plan
Month-to-month $349/mo $289/mo Peak $4,188 vs PlexusDx $3,468 — PlexusDx saves $720
3-month plan $837 charged per block $269/mo Peak $3,348 vs PlexusDx $3,228 — PlexusDx saves $120
6-month plan $1,396 charged per block ($232.67/mo, our calculation) $249/mo Peak $2,792 vs PlexusDx $2,988 — Peak saves $196

That last row deserves emphasis: on tirzepatide, a patient willing to prepay $1,396 every six months pays less per year at Peak than on PlexusDx's 6-month plan. The catch is capital at risk — Peak's refund policy was not visible in the signup flow we captured, so ask before prepaying. Peak's tirzepatide month-to-month rate was verified at checkout in July 2026; Peak's current site quotes tirzepatide pricing inside its signup flow, so confirm the ongoing rate at checkout before relying on it.

What Peak Wellness gets right

Peak's flat-rate promise is real and matters: many programs raise the price as the dose escalates, which can add hundreds of dollars in the second half of a titration year. Peak charges the same rate at every dose, pre-authorizes your card, and bills only if a licensed physician prescribes. There is no membership or platform fee layered on top, injection supplies are included, and the 3- and 6-month plans add expedited shipping and priority support. For a patient who knows they will stay on therapy and wants injectable-only treatment at a predictable rate, Peak's prepaid blocks are priced competitively — and on 6-month tirzepatide, best-in-this-comparison.

Where it falls short

Three gaps stood out in our capture. First, breadth: Peak offered only two injectables in the flow we documented — no oral semaglutide or tirzepatide, and no lower-dose maintenance tier, so patients who reach goal weight and want a lighter protocol must look elsewhere. Second, the refund question: "cancel anytime" appears on the plan card, but we could not locate a stated refund policy for the unelapsed portion of a prepaid block. Third, transparency of the ongoing tirzepatide rate requires reaching checkout, which makes comparison shopping harder than it should be.

Choose Peak Wellness if…

You want injectable-only treatment, you are comfortable prepaying 6-month blocks, and tirzepatide is your medication — the $2,792/year path is the cheapest tirzepatide route in this comparison. Peak also fits patients who prioritize flat dose pricing and expedited shipping.

Choose PlexusDx if…

You want the lower month-to-month rate without prepayment ($189 semaglutide, $289 tirzepatide), oral options, or a $129/month flat microdose maintenance protocol — or you simply want every rate published before checkout. Compare plans directly on the Semaglutide Injection and Tirzepatide Injection pages.

Methodology and freshness

Peak Wellness figures come from PlexusDx's documented signup capture of July 19–20, 2026 (28 dated screenshots, through checkout), published on our PlexusDx vs Peak Wellness comparison, and were re-checked against Peak's public site on August 31, 2026, which confirmed the $249/month ongoing semaglutide rate and unchanged $597 and $990 multi-month totals. PlexusDx rates were verified against our live product pages on August 31, 2026. All per-month figures for prepaid blocks are our calculations from the charged totals. Frequently Asked Questions

Is Peak Wellness a legitimate GLP-1 provider?

Based on our documented signup capture, Peak Wellness operates a standard telehealth model: a licensed physician reviews your profile, your card is charged only if you are prescribed, and medication ships from state-regulated compounding pharmacies. We completed the signup flow through checkout in July 2026 and verified the plan structure and pricing shown in this review.

How much does semaglutide cost at Peak Wellness?

Peak's ongoing month-to-month rate for compounded semaglutide is $249, confirmed on its site as of August 31, 2026. The 3-month plan is charged as a $597 block and the 6-month plan as a $990 block, which work out to $199 and $165 per month by our calculation. The rate does not increase with dose.

Does Peak Wellness charge a membership fee?

No membership fee appeared at Peak Wellness's checkout in our July 2026 capture. The plan price covers the provider review, medication, and injection supplies, with expedited shipping included on the 3-month and 6-month plans. PlexusDx likewise charges no membership fee on any plan.

Does Peak Wellness offer oral GLP-1 medications or a maintenance dose?

Not in the flow we captured. Peak offered two compounded injectables — semaglutide and tirzepatide — with no oral formulations and no lower-dose maintenance tier. Patients planning a step-down phase after reaching goal weight would need a different program for that stage, such as an oral option or a dedicated microdose protocol.

Is Peak Wellness cheaper than PlexusDx?

It depends on the plan. PlexusDx is less expensive on every semaglutide plan length and on month-to-month and 3-month tirzepatide. Peak is cheaper on one path: prepaid 6-month tirzepatide, at $2,792 per year versus $2,988 at PlexusDx's 6-month rate — provided you are comfortable prepaying $1,396 per block.
