The short answer

Eden charges two separate recurring fees: one for medication ($99/month semaglutide or $199/month tirzepatide) and one for membership ($39 the first month, then $99/month ongoing). The all-in cost for semaglutide is $138 the first month, then $198 every month after; for tirzepatide it's $238 first month, then $298 ongoing. Over 12 months that averages $193/month for semaglutide and $293/month for tirzepatide (our calculation). PlexusDx charges one flat monthly rate—$189 for semaglutide injection, $289 for tirzepatide injection—with no separate membership and the same price at every dose. If you prepay a six-month cycle with PlexusDx the per-month rate drops to $149 semaglutide or $249 tirzepatide. The first-month discount at Eden reduces your initial outlay by $60, but the two-part billing structure means ongoing costs are higher than PlexusDx's month-to-month rate for semaglutide and roughly equivalent for tirzepatide before any multi-month commitment.

Breaking down Eden's two-part billing

Eden separates medication cost from membership. The medication charge is $99/month for compounded semaglutide or $199/month for compounded tirzepatide. The membership is a required second charge: $39 for your first month (an introductory first-month rate), then $99/month ongoing. Both charges recur monthly; you cannot pay for medication without the membership. At checkout Eden displays these as two line items and states "card won't be charged until plan is medically approved within 24 hours." The membership covers support and access; the medication charge is the pharmacy fulfillment cost. There is no option to prepay multiple months or lock in a lower rate.

This means your first billing cycle is $138 for semaglutide ($99 + $39 first-month membership) or $238 for tirzepatide ($199 + $39 first-month membership). Every month after that you pay $198 for semaglutide ($99 + $99 ongoing membership) or $298 for tirzepatide ($199 + $99 ongoing membership). The $60 first-month membership discount reduces initial cost but does not affect the long-term rate.

True 12-month cost: Eden vs PlexusDx

To compare Eden's introductory-then-refill structure to a flat monthly rate, we calculate the total paid over 12 months and divide by 12. These are our calculations based on the verified per-month rates captured in July and September 2026.

Eden semaglutide over 12 months

  • Month 1: $138 ($99 medication + $39 first-month membership)
  • Months 2–12 (11 refills): 11 × $198 = $2,178
  • Total paid: $138 first-month + $2,178 refill = $2,316
  • Average per month: $2,316 ÷ 12 = $193/month (our calculation)

PlexusDx semaglutide over 12 months (month-to-month)

  • All 12 months: 12 × $189 = $2,268
  • Average per month: $189/month

Difference: PlexusDx month-to-month semaglutide costs $48 less over 12 months than Eden's blended rate (our calculation). If you prepay two six-month cycles with PlexusDx at $149/month, the 12-month total is $1,788—a savings of $528 versus Eden's 12-month total (our calculation).

Eden tirzepatide over 12 months

  • Month 1: $238 ($199 medication + $39 first-month membership)
  • Months 2–12 (11 refills): 11 × $298 = $3,278
  • Total paid: $238 first-month + $3,278 refill = $3,516
  • Average per month: $3,516 ÷ 12 = $293/month (our calculation)

PlexusDx tirzepatide over 12 months (month-to-month)

  • All 12 months: 12 × $289 = $3,468
  • Average per month: $289/month

Difference: PlexusDx month-to-month tirzepatide costs $48 less over 12 months than Eden's blended rate (our calculation). If you prepay two six-month cycles with PlexusDx at $249/month, the 12-month total is $2,988—a savings of $528 versus Eden's 12-month total (our calculation).

What the membership includes (and what it does not)

Eden's $99/month ongoing membership covers support access and platform features; the medication is billed separately. The checkout page does not itemize which clinical services (initial consult, follow-ups, prescription management) are included in the membership versus bundled with the medication charge. Eden states "cancel anytime," and both charges stop when you cancel. The membership is required—you cannot purchase medication alone.

PlexusDx charges one all-inclusive monthly rate that covers the online provider visit, prescription, compounded medication, and shipping. There is no separate membership fee. The $189 semaglutide or $289 tirzepatide rate includes every service and remains the same regardless of dose titration. PlexusDx also offers optional genetics testing ($298 standalone or $99 for active patients) and a free Doctor of Pharmacy check-in, neither of which changes the monthly medication cost.

When Eden's first-month discount matters

The $39 introductory membership rate saves you $60 in month one. If you are testing GLP-1 tolerance, uncertain about continuation beyond one or two months, or need the lowest possible first-month outlay, Eden's $138 semaglutide entry point is $51 less than PlexusDx's $189 month-to-month rate. For tirzepatide the first-month difference is also $51 ($238 Eden vs $289 PlexusDx).

That advantage reverses in month two: Eden's ongoing $198 semaglutide rate is $9/month higher than PlexusDx, and the $298 tirzepatide rate is $9/month higher. By month seven the cumulative cost at Eden exceeds PlexusDx's flat rate for semaglutide (our calculation). For tirzepatide the crossover occurs around month seven as well. If you expect to continue treatment six months or longer, the introductory discount does not offset the higher recurring cost.

Multi-month commitment and upfront cost

Eden offers only month-to-month billing. You cannot prepay or lock in a lower rate for a multi-month commitment. PlexusDx offers three billing options:

  • Month-to-month: $189 semaglutide, $289 tirzepatide; cancel anytime with no penalty.
  • 3-month prepaid: $169/month semaglutide, $269/month tirzepatide ($507 and $807 upfront respectively); our calculation of per-month equivalent.
  • 6-month prepaid: $149/month semaglutide, $249/month tirzepatide ($894 and $1,494 upfront respectively); our calculation of per-month equivalent.

The six-month PlexusDx rate is $49/month less than Eden's ongoing rate for semaglutide and $49/month less for tirzepatide (our calculation comparing $149 to $198 and $249 to $298). If cash flow permits the upfront payment, the cumulative 12-month savings with PlexusDx's six-month option (renewed once) is $528 for semaglutide and $528 for tirzepatide versus Eden's blended 12-month cost (our calculation).

Route, dose flexibility, and medication access

Both Eden and PlexusDx offer compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Eden lists both injectable and oral formats; availability and route are clinician-dependent and not guaranteed at intake. PlexusDx offers five formats: semaglutide injection ($189 month-to-month), tirzepatide injection ($289), oral semaglutide capsules ($289), oral tirzepatide capsules ($349), and a microdose GLP-1 injection protocol ($129) for maintenance or side-effect mitigation. Route and dose are determined by the prescribing provider based on medical history and goals.

Eden's pricing does not vary by dose within a given medication; neither does PlexusDx's. At both services the same monthly rate applies whether you are at a starter dose or a maintenance dose.

Guarantees and refund policies

Eden advertises a "Lose 10% in 6 months or get your money back" pledge on its compounded medication plans (verified checkout capture, July 19, 2026). The full terms of this guarantee—what documentation is required, which months are eligible for refund, whether membership fees are included—were not captured in our evidence. If this guarantee is important to your decision, confirm the conditions directly with Eden before enrollment.

PlexusDx does not offer a weight-loss guarantee. Monthly charges cover the clinical service, prescription, and medication; no refund is available for medication that has been prescribed and shipped. You can cancel month-to-month service anytime; prepaid multi-month cycles are non-refundable once the provider approves the plan.

Choose Eden if…

  • You want the lowest possible first-month cost and are testing GLP-1 tolerance before committing to long-term treatment.
  • You value a weight-loss guarantee and are prepared to meet the documentation requirements to claim it if needed.
  • You prefer month-to-month flexibility and do not want to prepay or commit to multi-month cycles.
  • The two-part billing structure—medication and membership separated—aligns with how you budget recurring health expenses.

Choose PlexusDx if…

  • You expect to continue treatment six months or longer and want a lower blended cost over time.
  • You prefer one all-inclusive monthly charge with no separate membership fee—provider visit, prescription, medication, and shipping in a single line item.
  • You want the option to prepay a multi-month cycle and lock in a per-month rate below Eden's ongoing rate ($149 or $249 per month, our calculation, versus Eden's $198 or $298).
  • You value format flexibility—injectable, oral, or microdose protocols determined by a licensed provider—and the same flat rate at every dose.
  • You want optional genetic insights (available as a $99 add-on for active patients) to guide medication and dose selection.

Methodology and freshness

Eden pricing—medication charges, membership fees, and first-month introductory rate—was verified through checkout page captures on July 19, 2026, and September 4, 2026. PlexusDx pricing was captured from live product pages on September 17, 2026. The 12-month cost calculations, average per-month figures, and cumulative savings comparisons are our calculations based on those verified per-month rates. We applied the first-month membership discount once in month one, then the ongoing membership rate for months two through twelve. Multi-month per-month equivalents for PlexusDx (e.g., "$149/month prepaid" for the six-month plan) are our calculation; the actual charge is a single upfront payment of $894 for six months of semaglutide or $1,494 for six months of tirzepatide. Confirm all pricing at checkout before enrollment; promotional rates and plan terms can change.
