Important safety information
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescription medications. They are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness or quality.
Possible risk of thyroid tumors, including cancer. In studies with rodents, semaglutide and tirzepatide caused thyroid C-cell tumors. It is not known whether they cause these tumors, including medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), in people. Do not use them if you or a family member has ever had MTC, or if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Tell your provider right away if you get a lump or swelling in your neck, trouble swallowing, hoarseness or shortness of breath.
Do not use these medications if you have had a serious allergic reaction to them. Tell your provider if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding, and before any surgery or procedure that uses anesthesia or deep sedation. Tirzepatide may make birth control pills less effective.
