Important safety information

Compounded sermorelin acetate injection is a prescription medication. Compounded medications are prescription medications prepared by state-licensed pharmacies for an individual prescription. They are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness or quality.

Do not use sermorelin if you have had an allergic reaction to it or to any ingredient in the compounded product, or if you have an active cancer. Tell your provider if you have diabetes or problems controlling your blood sugar, an underactive thyroid, a history of cancer, or if you take glucocorticoids (such as prednisone), thyroid medication or insulin, since these can change how sermorelin works.

Possible side effects include pain, redness, swelling or itching at the injection site, headache, flushing, dizziness, nausea, difficulty swallowing, changes in taste, sleepiness, hyperactivity and, with ongoing use, water retention or joint aches. Stop using sermorelin and get medical help right away if you have signs of a serious allergic reaction, such as trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or hives.

This is not a complete list. Talk to your provider about your full medical history and every medication and supplement you take, and tell your provider if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
